Important Information

Dear Parents/Guardians,

**PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS!**

The end of the school year is almost here! ALL MEDICATIONS should be picked up by a parent or guardian by 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026. 

Parents/Guardians will need to come to the school to sign out these medications with the nurse.  All medications not retrieved by 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026 will be destroyed in accordance with the Alabama School Health Services Administrative Medication Policy.

Unless your student’s physician designated him/her to “self-carry” for this school year, NO MEDICATION will be given to a student to transport home. This includes all inhalers, EpiPens, diabetes and seizure medications.

**No medication will be stored over the summer. Any medication needed for summer programs must be signed in with the nurse or medication assistant for that program.

Please begin making your plans now! Feel free to email me to secure a time for pick up and I will do my best to have that ready in order to reduce wait times.
