I graduated from Auburn University in 1992 with a BS in Elementary Education.

I have completed master level coursework for assistant Applied Behavior Analysis Certification from the University of West Florida.

I have been teaching over a span of 14 years.  I started my teaching career in Florida where I taught kindergarten and third grade.  I then moved to Virginia, where I taught second grade and a multi-age classroom that consisted of first through third grade.  When I came to Madison, I taught at Heritage Elementary for 4 years where I taught first and sixth grade.  For the last four years I have been teaching at the Riley Center in Huntsville.

I am very excited to be here at Mill Creek.  Both of my daughters have graduated from the Madison City School system.  My oldest daughter graduated from Auburn University in Electrical Engineering last December and now is working in Huntsville with Lockheed Martin.  My youngest daughter is a junior at Auburn University and doing well in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Global Studies.  My husband and I both graduated from Auburn. My hobbies are running, biking and being outside.

I am looking forward to getting to know my students over the coming years and watching them grow academically.
