Bachelors of Arts in Music - Freed-Hardeman University (2000)
Masters of Education - Freed-Hardemen University (2004)

Teaching music is my passion, and I have been doing it in some form or fashion since 2000.  I taught private voice and piano lessons for 8 ½ years, and I taught pre-school music for three years.  I am now in my seventh year of teaching elementary music.

I feel so blessed to get to share my passion with students of all ages. It is exciting to see how music helps children in building them up intellectually, socially and culturally.  The benefits of music are virtually endless and can be reaped a variety of ways in the school music program.

My husband, Dave, and I have been married for seventeen years.  We have two children, Eli and Scout.  We stay busy with church, music lessons, ballgames and gymnastics.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and running.
