I am an Instructional Partner at Mill Creek. As Instructional Partner, I partner with teachers working with instructional best practices, scaffolding learning, and collaborating with teams for maximizing student outcomes. Previously, I was a literacy coach for Madison City Schools from 2005-2012. Prior to being a literacy coach, I was a second grade teacher from 1993-2004 for Madison County Schools which eventually became Madison City Schools established in 1998.

I am originally from Homewood, AL, but I have lived in Madison City since 1993 and consider Madison my home. I enjoy visiting with family and friends as much as possible as well as spending time with my dog, Darby. I also love to read (especially topics of motivation and leadership), relax by the pool in the summer, and travel when possible.
